You absolutely can! Weava is completely free to use. You can use it on unlimited devices and create unlimited highlights and notes in all plans.
Yes! We offer both monthly and yearly billing options. The yearly billing option is always cheaper (usually ~20% discount).

Yes! The subscription is automatically renewed at the end of the initial paid term (one month or one year, depending on your plan) so that you can continue enjoying the premium services seamlessly. The renewal will be processed with the credit card information you entered in the beginning. If you used a coupon code to enjoy the premium plan for the first term, you will be automatically renewed for the subsequent term at the regular price. 

Yes, you can. Collaboration is a premium feature that enables you to share and work in Weava folders together. You will also be able to access and interact with your friend/colleagues highlights directly on the respective PDFs and websites, as well as on your Weava dashboard.

No. Don’t worry, we won’t charge you for hosting your sub-folders. All your sub-folders remain accessible even if your subscription ends or you’ve switched to the Free plan. But on Free plan you can’t create any new sub folders.
We handle billing via Stripe. We do not handle your credit card information directly. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, we make use of best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security at Stripe. Currently you can’t pay via Paypal, though we are considering including this in the future. There is also a feature request for this in our feature request portal which you can vote on if you are eager to see us offer this option. You can see it here.

When you cancel your paid plan, you will revert back to the free plan immediately. In the future, we hope to implement improvements so that you may remain on the premium plan until the end of your billing cycle, at which time the plan will be cancelled. Should you have accidentally cancelled your plan prematurely, you can contact our support for help.

We offer an 70% discount on premium plans for students. Please contact education@weavatools.com from your student email address.

We’re also supporting educators around the world with special offers and packages for classes. If you’re an educator interested in plans for yourself and your class, contact us through the following form.

Your account email will be notified after each failed payment. Payments may be retried up to 4 times within the next week. After this, if the payment did not succeed, you will be downgraded to the Free plan.
